Max and Hudson are thrilled. We’ve been spending some time at Oma and Grandpa’s house.
This means copious amounts of hugs and kisses, a wide screen high def tv and ipad games and a poor unsuspecting pug-beagle mix named Rocco to chase endlessly in circles around the house.
Going to Grandma and Grandpas ain’t what it used to be.
Here are a few things that have happened along the way.
*Max wrote a note to Barack Obama (picture to follow)
*Hudson fixated on some balloons at a restaurant grew frustrated when I was ignoring the two balloons after several attempts to get my attention (including physically turning my head toward the balloons he tried Spanish screaming “Dos Balloons!!!”
*Before we left Max finger painted a painting entirely out of blue paint and then said he was “done with his blue period”– he heard this from a tv show but it had me absolutely stunned for a moment.
*Max has gotten quite good at a game on Grandpa’s iPad that teaches physics… go fig.
And I realized that of all the spoiling Hudson gets between his two sets of grandparents and Jeff and I, the one who spoils him the most is his brother Max, who will without a single hesitation give Hudson anything he wants including his own treat without a second thought.
