At the store Jeff and I got roped in to buying snack cakes (EXTREMELY RARE) and then Girl Scout cookies — the cookies were for us.
We let Max have one cake while we munched on the cookies driving home and I mentioned remembering they used to be $3 (they are now $3.75)
Max was in the back simultaneously (he doesn’t typically wait for us to stop talking before saying anything) gushing about his snack cake…
“OH WOW, These are AMAZING! I mean really, you gotta try this, have a bite mom! It’s DE-LISH!”
suddenly we hear from the back–
“If I were a Girl Scout, and sold cookies, these things would be 50 bucks!”
